Pathline Athlete LLC | Pathline College Recruiting Advisory
Version 1.0 | Effective September 5, 2026
This policy explains what Pathline collects, why we use it, and the choices available to families.
Pathline Athlete LLC ("Pathline," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Pathline College Recruiting Advisory service and the pathlineathlete.com website. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website, consultation process, platform, and recruiting advisory services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information, such as name, email address, login information, and account role.
- Parent or guardian information, when a family account or minor athlete is involved.
- Athlete recruiting information, such as graduation year, position, school/team information, recruiting goals, school interests, recruiting-stage information, profile information, and other information the family chooses to provide.
- Consultation and support information, including information submitted through consultation forms and communications with Pathline.
- Platform activity and technical information reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Billing and membership information, such as subscription status and transaction status. Payment-card details are handled by our payment provider; Pathline does not receive or store full card numbers.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide recruiting advisory services and operate the Pathline platform.
- Create and maintain accounts, athlete profiles, school lists, plans, tasks, touchpoints, and other requested recruiting workflows.
- Respond to consultations, questions, and support requests.
- Process and administer memberships and billing.
- Protect accounts, prevent abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Improve Pathline products, services, and internal operations.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. How We Share Information
Pathline does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
- Service providers that help us host, secure, operate, authenticate, communicate, or process payments for Pathline. These providers may use information only as needed to provide services to us and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
- Professional advisors or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security issues, or respond to lawful requests.
- A successor or acquiring organization if Pathline is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
4. College Recruiting Communications
When a family asks Pathline to help prepare or support recruiting communications, Pathline may use the information the family provides to assist with that work. Pathline will not knowingly present invented recruiting facts or represent itself as a college or coach.
5. Minors
Pathline serves families involved in college recruiting, so athlete information may relate to minors. A parent or legal guardian should create or control the family relationship for a minor athlete and should provide or authorize the information submitted about that athlete. Pathline is not intended for children under 13 to use independently. If information about a child under 13 is ever needed, it must be provided by or under the direction of a parent or legal guardian.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain limited backup or audit information after account closure when reasonably necessary for those purposes.
7. Security
Pathline uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords and account access.
8. Your Choices
- You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your Pathline account by contacting hello@pathlineathlete.com.
- You may cancel a Pathline membership at any time under the Service Agreement.
- You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications. Service-related account, security, billing, or membership communications may still be sent when necessary.
Some information may need to be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
Pathline uses third-party services for functions such as hosting, authentication, database services, payments, and email delivery. Pathline may also link to third-party websites or recruiting resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Pathline evolves. We will post the updated version and effective date. If a material change meaningfully affects how we handle existing user information, we will provide reasonable notice and may require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
