Rules for using the Pathline platform. The license is limited, personal, and tied to your Pathline account.

This Platform User Agreement / License ("Platform Agreement") governs access to and use of the Pathline website, dashboards, tools, and related software provided by Pathline Athlete LLC ("Pathline"). By clicking "Agree," creating or using an account after this Platform Agreement is presented, or otherwise accepting it electronically, you agree to these terms.

1. Who May Use the Platform

You may use the platform only for your own authorized Pathline account and the athlete relationships Pathline has approved for that account. If you are accepting for a minor athlete, you represent that you are the athlete's parent or legal guardian and have authority to accept these terms for the athlete.

2. Limited License

Pathline grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for your own recruiting advisory relationship with Pathline. This is a license to use the platform, not a sale of the software or Pathline intellectual property.

3. Account Security

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• Keep passwords and sign-in credentials confidential.
• Do not share an account with an unauthorized person.
• Notify Pathline promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with Pathline, other users, colleges, coaches, or third parties.

• Do not access another person's account or data without authorization.
• Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, copy in bulk, or systematically extract platform data without written permission.
• Do not reverse engineer, bypass security controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with platform operation.
• Do not upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not impersonate another person, college, coach, athletic department, or organization.
• Do not use Pathline to harass, threaten, deceive, or send unlawful communications.

5. Your Content and Information

You retain ownership of information and content you provide to Pathline. You give Pathline a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Pathline service and to carry out features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup, security, legal, and record-retention needs.

6. Pathline Content and Intellectual Property

Pathline owns or licenses the platform software, design, branding, workflows, templates, and other Pathline-created materials. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights in Pathline intellectual property are transferred to you. You may use Pathline-provided materials for your personal recruiting process, but you may not resell, republish, or commercially exploit them without permission.

7. Recruiting Information and Decisions

The platform is a recruiting organization and advisory tool. Information about colleges, programs, coaches, rules, deadlines, or recruiting status can change. Pathline does not guarantee that any information will remain current or that a college will respond, recruit, admit, offer, or provide financial aid to an athlete. You remain responsible for final recruiting and application decisions.

8. Third-Party Services

Pathline may use or link to third-party services, websites, payment providers, communications providers, or recruiting resources. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Pathline is not responsible for third-party availability, decisions, or content.

9. Platform Availability and Changes

Pathline may update, improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue platform features. We may perform maintenance or experience outages. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the platform available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

10. Suspension or Termination

Pathline may limit or suspend platform access for nonpayment, security concerns, unlawful conduct, misuse, or material violation of this Platform Agreement. When the Pathline service relationship ends, your platform license ends, subject to any limited access Pathline may provide for account closure or data export.

11. Privacy

Pathline's collection and use of personal information is described in the Pathline Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you acknowledge that policy.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathline does not make guarantees about uninterrupted availability, recruiting outcomes, third-party decisions, or the continued accuracy of changing third-party information. Pathline is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Pathline's total liability for claims related to the platform will not exceed the amount paid to Pathline during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law

This Platform Agreement is governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes and Re-Acceptance

Pathline may update this Platform Agreement. The version and effective date will be shown when presented. If a material update affects existing users, Pathline may require acceptance of the updated version before continued use of the platform.
